Airport Road Rehabilitation Project

The County of Mono (County) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to qualified professional archaeological consultants to provide its Department of Public Works (Department) with a cultural resources technical study to satisfy Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act for the Mono County Airport Road Rehabilitation Project (Project). The Project is federally funded under the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) and is currently in the preliminary engineering and environmental phase. The cultural resources technical study is required in order to obtain a Categorical Exclusion under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).  

The Request for Proposal is available for download under Planholder Files.  The pdf file contains all required proposal information, including project description, scope of services, proposal submittal requirements, evaluation criteria, sample contract, and required forms, etc.

All qualified consultants and firms interested in providing the services described in this RFP are invited to submit a proposal.  To be considered, proposals (without cost proposals) must be submitted by October 2, 2019 prior to 3:00 PM (Submission Deadline).

Proposals received from interested consultants and firms will be evaluated for the professional qualifications, experience, and competence deemed necessary for the satisfactory completion of requested services.
