PINE NUT ROAD REHABILITATION PROJECT
Project No. 9327
Notice is hereby given that the Mono County (“County”) Department of Public Works calls for bids from qualified Class A general engineering contractors for Mono County’s PINE NUT ROAD REHABILITATION PROJECT (“Project”). The Project is state funded with Senate Bill 1 (SB 1) funds. The purpose of this Project is to rehabilitate failed asphalt concrete pavement with Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) and new asphalt surfacing at Pine Nut Road in Walker, Mono County, CA. The Project begins at the Pine Nut Road intersection with Highway 395 and ends approximately 0.7 miles south-south-east at the road’s existing pavement terminus. The rehabilitation follows existing horizontal and vertical alignments with minor grading for drainage purposes. Other Project improvements include grading/re-grading of approximately 500 feet of roadside swale, removal of an old trench drain and drop inlet, and installation of two new drop inlets and two new culvert pipes.
Qualification requirements, contractor selection criteria, scope of work, and additional project descriptions are outlined in the bid documents available for download. All interested parties should download the Pine Nut Road Rehabilitation Project Manual and the Pine Nut Road Rehabilitation Project Plan Set. Together, these downloads comprise the complete Project Manual for the Pine Nut Road Rehabilitation Project. The Project Manual download contains the Invitation to Bid, Instructions for Bidders, Proposal Forms, Sample Standard Contract with Exhibits, Technical Specifications, and Mono County’s Construction Quality Assurance Program (QAP). The plan set is available for download in size 11"x17" (half scale) and 22"x34".
