INVITATION FOR BIDS
MONO COUNTY SYSTEMIC SAFETY CURVE SIGNAGE PROJECT
Project No. 9319
Notice is hereby given that the Mono County (“County”) Department of Public Works calls for bids from qualified General Engineering and sign installation contractors for the MONO COUNTY SYSTEMIC SAFETY CURVE SIGNAGE PROJECT (“Project”). The project is state funded under the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP). The project will install new curve warning signs and chevrons, when applicable, on designated curve locations on the following Mono County maintained roads: Lower Rock Creek Road, Benton Crossing Road, Convict Lake Road, Lundy Lake Road, Twin Lakes Road, Eastside Lane, and Cunningham Lane. Existing curve warning signs will also be upgraded as part of the project.
Each bid shall be made on the proposal forms contained in the Project Manual and must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total bid. The Project and all work must be completed within thirty (30) working days from the start date to be identified in the Notice to Proceed.

Together, these two downloads comprise the complete Project Manual for the Mono County Systemic Safety Curve Signage Project. The Project Manual download contains the Invitation to Bid, Instructions for Bidders, Proposal Forms, Sample Standard Contract with Exhibits, Technical Specifications, and Mono County’s Construction Quality Assurance Program (QAP).
To be considered, bids must be received by the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors no later than 3:00 pm Thursday, June 6, 2024 (“Extended Bid Submission Deadline”).
Please visit the website link above on the Mono County website to download relevant documents for any future addendums, Zoom Meetings, bid tabulations, Notice to Award, etc. Bidders will be notified through the Mono County Bid Management System, however all pdf documents referenced in any notification will be available at the website link provided above.

05/28/2024: No bids were received for this project prior to the bid submittal deadline on May 22, 2024 at 3:00 pm. Mono County is extending the bid submittal deadline to Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 3:00 pm. All bids received for this project will remain unopened until the public bid opening scheduled for June 6th at 3:00 pm.
