INVITATION FOR BIDS

MONO COUNTY RIGHT EDGELINE STRIPING PROJECT

Project No. 9320

Notice is hereby given that the Mono County (“County”) Department of Public Works calls for bids from qualified contractors for the MONO COUNTY RIGHT EDGELINE STRIPING PROJECT (“Project”). The project is state funded under the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP).  The purpose of this Project is to paint 6-inch wide right edgeline striping on Northshore Drive, Twin Lakes Road, Topaz Lane, and Eastside Lane from Offal Road to Cunningham Lane. 

Each bid shall be made on the proposal forms contained in the Project Manual and must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total bid.  The Project and all work must be completed within 10 working days from the construction start date to be identified in the Notice to Proceed. 

Due to technical difficulties, planholder files will not be available for download directly from the County Bid Management System.  Qualification requirements, contractor selection criteria, scope of work, and additional project descriptions are outlined in the bid documents available for download at the following link (separate from the Bid Management System):

Please use this link to download all planholder files.  All interested parties should download the Project Manual and the Project plan set.  Together, these two downloads comprise the complete Project Manual for the Mono County Right Edgeline Striping Project.  The Project Manual download contains the Invitation to Bid, Instructions for Bidders, Proposal Forms, Sample Standard Contract with Exhibits, Technical Specifications, and Mono County’s Construction Quality Assurance Program (QAP).

To be considered, bids must be received by the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors no later than 3:00 pm Thursday June 6, 2024 (“Extended Bid Submission Deadline”).

05/28/2024:  No bids were received for this project prior to the May 22, 2024 bid deadline at 3:00 pm.  Mono County is extending the bid deadline to Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 3:00 pm.  All bids received for this project will remain unopened until the public bid opening on June 6th just after the 3:00 pm bid submittal deadline.
