INVITATION FOR BIDS
EASTSIDE LANE REHABILITATION PROJECT
Project No. RSTPL-I5947(056)
Notice is hereby given that the Mono County (“County”) Department of Public Works calls for bids from qualified General Engineering and Asphalt Paving contractors for the EASTSIDE LANE REHABILITATION PROJECT (“Project”). This project will rehabilitate failing asphalt pavement on a portion of Eastside Lane in Walker, CA between the intersections of Offal Road and Cunningham Lane. The base bid for the project begins road rehabilitation at the Offal Road intersection and continues north on Eastside Lane for 1.3 miles. Project bid alternates are included for work to extend the road rehabilitation 0.5 miles to the Cunningham Lane intersection. The existing asphalt concrete will be recycled in-place for reuse on this project by implementing full-depth reclamation (FDR). Associated road drainage, signs, paint striping, and paint markings are included in the project.
The project is federally funded under the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). Qualification requirements, contractor selection criteria, scope of work, and additional project descriptions are outlined in the bid documents available for download.

Together, these two downloads comprise the complete Project Manual for the Eastside Lane Rehabilitation Project. The Project Manual download contains the Invitation to Bid, Instructions for Bidders, Proposal Forms, DBE Forms, Sample Standard Contract with Exhibits, Technical Specifications, and Mono County’s Construction Quality Assurance Program (QAP). Note, the project plan set is available for download in two sheet sizes, 11”x17” or 22”x34”.
To be considered, bids must be received by the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors no later than 3:00 pm Wednesday July 31, 2019.
An Addendum to the Bid Package has been provided for download. Per the federal 10-day rule, federal wage rates have been updated (Exhibit 9 of the Sample Contract).
