Two New 2018 Ford F-150 XL trucks

Notice is hereby given that the Mono County Department of Public Works calls for bids to furnish two New 2018 Ford F-150 XL, gas powered 4x4, extended cab with long bed (8 foot) pickup trucks.

The bid specifications contained in the Vehicle Bid Form provide in detail the County’s requirements for this vehicle. Instructions for bid submittals are also listed within the Bid Form Document. See links below for the Vehicle Bid Form.

Question: when dealers bid on vehicle purchases, do they have to include DMV fees, or are we ‘exempt’ from those fees as a public agency? If certain fees apply but others do not, can you please stipulate?

Answer: The vehicles are to be registered exempt.
