Mono County Office Building Design-Build Entity RFQ

Summary

The County of Mono (Owner) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from interested and qualified Design-Build Entities (DBE) to prequalify them for a subsequent Request for Proposals (RFP) process through which a DBE would be selected to provide design and construction services for a government office building in Mammoth Lakes, CA. The building is currently envisioned as a 53,500-square foot interagency office building with two wings—one 33,100 square foot wing housing County offices and one 20,400 square foot wing housing Town of Mammoth Lakes offices—connected by a central lobby. This RFQ is being distributed to seek DBEs that are interested in constructing only the County’s wing of the facility, and/or that are interested in constructing both the Town’s and the County’s wings should the timing permit that opportunity. Contracting for the project is separate for the two agencies due to timing—the County must relocate from its current offices two years before the Town, and the County has a critical need to move quickly to preserve a desired move-in date.

RFQ results will be available approximately 4 days from the time of RFQ Closing. During this time staff will be reviewing RFQ for completeness. If you add your name to the Planholder’s List, you will receive an email notifying you when the RFQ results are posted on this webpage.

See file download below for RFQ Manual with submittal instructions, project details, and DBE requirements.
